It's hard to find a piano player. There's tons of music for the clarinet, but how often do we get to play with accompaniment? Besides, piano players are never available, they demand to be paid and they can rarely play up to your tempo.

You can now rehearse all you want by using midi files for your accompaniment.

If you play these files as is with, say, the windows media player, you will hear both the clarinet part and the accompaniment. If you want just the accompaniment without the clarinet part, we highly recommend Van Basco's Karaoke Player. With this little gem of a midi player you can mute the clarinet part of any midi file and hear only the accompaniment. You can choose which parts you hear, what tempo and even in what key it plays. Now you can finally play the more popular clarinet literature with accompaniment!

Please note that these midi files are posted for educational purposes only. Nobody will pay to hear anyone play a clarinet concerto with a midi orchestra playing behind them. These files are a valuable resource for those who have already purchased the music.
