          The Clarinet Institute Store

Local Music Ensembles in Los Angeles

The Institute sponsors a number of clarinet groups including the quartet, quintet and clarinet choir.  These groups perform regularly at facilities around the Los Angeles area.  Our performing members include current and former professionals, advanced college students and amateurs who make a living elsewhere, but who still love to play.  We play for the joy of making music

While we feature the clarinet choir and quartet, we strongly encourage our members to perform in other chamber ensembles.  Our concerts provide an excellent opportunity to share the clarinet repertoire with the community.  Since we draw from a pool of clarinetists, our members can play in asfew or as many concerts as they want.

Membership is FREE.  All you need is a love of the clarinet and making music.

There is nothing in the musical world quite like the sound of clarinets playing together.  The sonority of the instruments is unmatched, giving a warmth to any piece of arranged music.
